Mityana, Uganda For weeks, Mr. David Ssenyonjo and his family lived in despair after thieves raided their home at night and vanished with valuables worth millions of shillings. Among the stolen items were a flat-screen television, a laptop computer, two smartphones, and money that had been set aside for his children’s school fees.
“I was broken. The police had recorded my statement but there was no clear progress. I kept asking myself how I would start again,” Ssenyonjo told this reporter.
A Friend’s Advice
In his frustration, Ssenyonjo confided in a close friend who advised him to seek help from Masunga Doctors, traditional healers known in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania for handling complex cases particularly those involving theft and missing property.

“When I saw my things, I couldn’t believe it. My laptop and TV were right there. I knew this was not coincidence. Masunga Doctors had worked,” Ssenyonjo said with a smile.
